Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Jadrimex B.V. is responsible for the personal data processed through this site. We are based in Gorinchem (Netherlands) and Grimbergen (Belgium); full contact details are in the footer and on the contact page. For privacy questions, e-mail info@jadrimex.com.

What data we process

Only what is needed to help you:

• what you fill in yourself in the contact, quotation or return form: your name, company name if any, e-mail address and phone number, address and order details, and the content of your message;
• what you send us when you e-mail, call or message us on WhatsApp yourself;
• your e-mail address when you download a user manual: we send the confirmation code there, and after the download we ourselves receive a notification with your address and the file, so we know who uses which manual;
• your e-mail address when you request the app download links: we send the links there, and we ourselves receive a notification of your request;
• your IP address, which stays in the server's working memory for at most fifteen minutes after a form submission to prevent abuse. It is not stored anywhere.

What we use it for

Only to handle your request: answering a question, preparing a quotation or processing a return or warranty case. The legal basis is that this processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)). We briefly use your IP address to prevent abuse of the forms; we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)). We send no newsletters, do no profiling and sell no data.

Who we share it with

A form submission arrives as an e-mail in our own mailbox. For delivering those e-mails and the confirmation e-mails we use Mailjet (European Union) as a processor; it only passes the content on and processes the data within the EEA. There is no database behind this site. Beyond that we share your data with no one, unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep request e-mails no longer than needed to handle your request; we will still set a concrete period for this and add it here. If your request belongs to an order or invoice, those records fall under the statutory tax retention obligation of seven years.

Cookies

This site uses one functional cookie: jadrimex_taal. It remembers your language choice for at most one year, nothing more. Your browser also stores two local preferences: jadrimex_leesbaar for the readable view and jadrimex_cookiemelding for your choice in the cookie notice. They stay on your own device and never leave it. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, not from third parties either.

Links to others

The site and our e-mails link to the App Store, Google Play, WhatsApp, Facebook and bol.com, among others. When you click through, those parties' privacy rules apply.

Your rights

You have the legal right to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• correction if something is wrong;
• deletion of your data;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to processing;
• receiving your data in a portable format.

E-mail your request to info@jadrimex.com. If you feel we mishandle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If anything changes in what this site does, we will update this statement. This version is dated 16 August 2026.
