A burglar alarm does two things at once: it reports unauthorised entry the moment it happens, and it deters before anyone even tries. A siren on the facade says enough before anything has happened at all.
The system is built from building blocks around a single hub: magnetic contacts on doors and windows, motion detectors in the rooms that matter, and sirens for indoors and outdoors that make the alarm heard and seen. Starting small and expanding later is no problem, because the hub simply takes on every new component.
The alarm reaches you wherever you are: as a push notification in the same app as the cameras and the detectors. Arming and disarming is done through the app, with a remote control or with a tag at the hub — whichever suits the people coming and going.
