Five residential floors with a car park underneath, an entrance with a call panel, a bike store and a stairwell that runs all the way up. The front façade has been left off, so you take in the shared spaces and the apartments themselves at a single glance.
This is the environment for homeowners' associations and property managers. The conversation here is not about one home but about what is shared: who is allowed in, who sees that, and what happens when something goes wrong in the stairwell. The nine devices in this scene sit at exactly those points.
The water leak detector is deliberately placed in the kitchen here. In stacked housing, a leaking hose on the second floor is damage for the neighbour below, and that is an alert you would rather get straight away.
